Artist Profile

Hope Mitchell-Graham is a Sheffield based textile and mixed-media artist. Graduating from York St John University in 2021, her work since has become more experimental. She draws on her experience of chronic illness to explore the link between the home, comfort items and disability by drawing tension between traditionally comforting and soft household items and the phrases stitched or painted onto them to create a feeling of unease or discomfort.
